Therapist - Sessions offered in English and Russian
I am a clinical psychologist (PhD) and I practice Existential Analysis and Logotherapy. I specialize in life transitions, cross-cultural adaptation, endings, psychology of time, and existential questions (such as loneliness, grief, death and dying, loss of meaning and finding purpose). My work concentrates on saying “yes” to life, on finding your personal time, core essence, meaning and fulfillment. Denmark is the sixth country that became my home (Latvia - USA - Russia - Spain - Sweden - Denmark). When Latvia became independent in 1991 I became a foreigner in my home country, thus began my journey through questions of belonging and what is ‘home’, various levels of arrivals and departures, and cultural transitions. For over 20 years now I’m curious about the concept of time, and I do research and creative projects about it. I am currently part of the Therapists for Ukraine initiative and Psychologists Across Borders. I offer short- or long-term therapy sessions in English and Russian.
