Psychotherapist - Sessions offered in English and Spanish
I became a psychotherapist, following a career in International Audit and Consultancy. I had studied Policy Making, with an MSc in Sea Use Law, Economics and Policy, focusing on cross border conflicts. The challenges of working across cultures, in different languages, trying to elicit change attracted me to try and understand the way people act, or react. A break in my career to have children allowed me to pursue this interest in human behaviour, including my own, by studying psychotherapy. I have worked as an honorary psychotherapist in the NHS, at both The Tavistock Clinic and The Maudsley Hospital (ongoing) using a psychoanalytical approach. In my private work I support asylum seekers and professionals out in the field supporting refugees. I work in Spanish and English, and am a registered member of BPC and BACP.
